- Please can you share short Introduction about yourself?
Hi, my name is megha sachdev. I am a Computer Engineer as per my educational qualification. I have served as a professor for about 2 years at amrut engineering collage and had been the Head of Department there. But I left that job and select youtube as full time profession.
- From where did your journey began? When you decided to Start a YouTube Cooking Channel?
I began sharing my recipes in the written format with a Facebook page called “rasoi ni rani- gujarati recipes”. My recipes were acknowledged and tried by so many peoples. This caught the eye of the group admin chirag bhai kaneriya. who later called and asked me to share 1-2 paid recipes every week in the group in a specific format and and after seeing my recipes on facebook, so many relatives and friends suggest me to create my own youtube channel. This worked as the foundation for my recipe sharing ideas on youtube.
- Did something happened through the journey which shocked you or made you feel extra ordinary?
When I think about extra ordinary things. The 1st thing comes to my mind is youtube award. which I always dream about. when I got my youtube silver play button I really feel extra ordinary. This is Junagadh 1st youtube silver award in cooking. And also when I win the title chef of Junagadh. That makes me feel proud. And also encourage me to do more and more on it.
- What was your parents take on this, when you doing youtube videos?
I am single parent child. But when I told to my mom. I don’t want to continue job. I want to do youtube videos. She supports me and told me do whatever makes you happy. so I left HOD post for my passion my cooking. My mom always support me in whatever I want to do. She never say no to me in any of things. She always supports me. And when someone ask about my inspiration or my motivation that is my mom. She is full of positivity. You just she me cooking but the backend park that is my mom she work as my backbone.
- You put out great content many times a week. This motivates other youtubers, how do you manage all that?
Yes I put daily one video on my channel. This never happen without my mom. She work like my backbone. She encourage me to make new and fresh content so many times she make videos with me.
- You are definitely not that person who should get hate but still do you receive hate comments or statements? If yes, how you deal with that?
Yes, I have almost 360k++ subscribers and 3cr++ viewers. so all are not same so many people encourage me with their beautiful comments and feedbacks. But also I receive hate comments too but try to not responding any of them.
- Do you think about becoming a full time youtuber choose as a career?
Yes. I think youtube is the best platform to showcase my recipes.
- Where Do You See Yourself In Five or Ten Years?
I never think about five or ten years. I love to live in present and enjoying my cooking life. But for sure if you ask about my dream then I want to create my studio. Where I can shoot my videos.
- Tell Me Your Favorite Foods To Cook and Eat?
My favourite food to eat is pizza and to make almost everything I love to do new experiments. And learnt new recipes.
- What Are Your Favorite Kitchen Equipment Or Gadget?
I have 1 professional knife and that Is my favourite kitchen equipment.
- How Do You Get Your Inspiration?
My inspiration is my Dream. For me this is just a beginning. I want to do so much hard work, learn so many new recipes new cooking techniques and become the best chef. For me this is my inspiration.
- Explain In What Ways Can A Youtuber Be Creative?
Just don’t copy anyone. Make your on creative recipes or content. Make quality content. And just be your on competitor.
